When we adopted Kip the vet told us that usually you can tell a dog’s age by its teeth, and that Kip was between five to ten years old. That’s between thirty-five years old and seventy years old in human years. I’m pretty sure I could guess a human’s age better than that, even with their mouth closed.
Today I asked the dentist if she could tell people’s ages by their teeth, and she said not really. So maybe we’re no better than dogs. The dentist was somewhere between nineteen and forty-eight, give or take a few decades.
Do you like dentist scratches? Do your knees hurt? Have you looked at the sun lately? Have you had Phish Food ice cream?
I don’t have much else to report, except that I’ve been eating a lot of frozen mango pieces with tajin, flossing a lot, and listening to a lot of Une lettre d’Amerique from RTL. I want to practice more French and I like that they talk about subjects I already know about. My favorite is the episode about the Wisconsin, just the state of Wisconisn.
I've always hated the scratchy dentist thing! It's the sounds that really bothers me. But Phish Food, that I can get behind! Yum!!
Love the French podcast recommendation!! Thank you!!
