Here’s how glamorous my life has been lately.
Something about being wet releases something in him, or turns him into a creature I have never met before. He needs to run and spin and everything seems to look different to him.
Now Kip smells great and the whole world is ready for Boaz’s talk about plants at the Pittsburgh Humanities Festival today:
And my talk at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum of Natural History on Thursday with the museum’s mammal curator, Dr. John Wible. I met with him Thursday to look at armadillos and bones and honey possums and I won’t spoil any of it here yet, but if you’re in Pittsburgh come see some specimens, some drawing, and hear some stories on this Thursday March 30th at 6:30.
Some books I read lately:
My friend Tara recommended Before the Coffee Gets Cold a few years ago and I just read it, it’s so cozy and nice and very short.
Boaz gave me Cat Brushing for Hannukah, it’s a book of short stories by a British author, all of them about older women. If I get amnesia I’ll be excited to read this book again for the first time.
I think I have more like a wet cat inside of me. Very annoyed and too lazy to care :)
