Most compliments are nice. But that was the first and last lung compliment I’ll ever get and I’m not letting it go to waste. It doesn’t seem like there’s really a benefit to long lungs, in case you’re wondering. But they’re also the only lungs I’ve ever had, so I’m not really equipped to say.
Do you have anything you love being complimented on? I feel sneaky when I get a handwriting compliment, because having decent handwriting seems like just a part of my job. Like Molly Seidel being complimented on her speed when she runs to catch a bus (except obviously instead of an Olympic athlete I’m someone who draws comics about lungs). I’d like to be someone who gives out compliments as genuine, unoffensive, and specific as a lung compliment, but mostly I just find myself complimenting people’s dogs.
If you live in Pennsylvania and need a good dog, I got to walk this one last week and she’s really sweet - if I see you with her I’ll give you a million compliments. She probably has lungs a mile long.
I hope your week is nice and that you’re able to get or give the perfect compliment.
Looks like that dog may have been adopted. Volunteer dog walkers are underappreciated, so I want to compliment you on your generous nature!
I have really good veins, apparently. They're large and easy to get blood from and I've gotten compliments on them from phlebotomists for many years. To the point that I now have to admit that I'm a little bit egotistical about my veins and if the phlebotomist or lab tech doesn't mention them, I start to worry that I am having a health issue. LOL.
