I’m not even someone who grew up vegetarian and doesn’t know what ground beef tacos are supposed to taste like. I’m just someone who is curious about what is going in my mouth. At a restaurant last weekend and had stir fried cauliflower and dehydrated watermelon sushi - those are all foods! This is what I’m into.
Do you like having people over for dinner or snacks, or going to other people’s places for food? It’s on a short list of things that are so fun I can’t believe we’re allowed to do them. (Also on the list is having pets.) Do you have any favorite foods with non-descriptive names? My favorite cookies are Snickerdoodle Party Cookies which honestly have a pretty vague name.
I hope you have a good Monday, and that you eat some foods you know about, and say hi to your pets if you have them (it’s allowed).
Yes, and what's the deal with replacing vowels with apostrophes to signify a veggie dish, a la chick'n and f'sh??
I feel like I experience this more from well meaning meat-eaters. My dad has thrown every not-meat breakfast meat at me in the past few years. He said he was going to get some for Easter this year and I said I’d just make some tofu myself. (It was delicious btw)
