Rat mom

If you’ve got the lowdown on rat baby husbandry I’d love to hear it, but please be gentle with it, I did the best I could with the info I could find! I think being in a truckload of mulch for a few hours had already done too much damage on these sweet buddies.

I’m out of town for work this week and Boaz and I have already talked on the phone on speakerphone, which drives Kip crazy whenever one of us is gone. The other week Boaz was away and I was watching one of his news segments, and Kip was looking for the disembodied Boaz voice everywhere. Sorry Kip. Also sorry we make you go outside to pee, I know it’s freezing out there.

What do you do when you find small injured birds, squirrels, rabbits, or rats? Have you ever successfully nursed one back to health? If so please tell me everything. Are you into Pedialyte? Do you think photos of rat babies would gross you out? Because I have a LOT more of them and I think they’re cute, but I didn’t want to disturb anyone.
