If you missed it: part one and part two of the rat story. I guess that makes this update part three. Hopefully it’s part three of four, and not part three of a thousand.
I’m ready for the rat story to be over but things don’t look great, this incident happened a few weeks ago and there seem to be five times as many rats around as before. Everything I’ve read and observed about rats makes me think they’re probably smart enough to be publishing the equivalent of their own newsletter about all this. I would really love to read it, or smell it, or consume it however it’s consumed.
Which things are your fault and which can you not take credit for? I’m personally responsible for climate change but can’t take any credit for teaching myself to knit (it’s easy, anyone could do it).
I hope you have a nice week full of only good surprises and nothing in your trash can that you didn’t put there yourself. I’ve been busy so most of my reading has just been pollen count updates, but if you’ve been reading anything good I’d love to hear about it.
Thank you so much, this is exactly how I feel:
Something bad: my fault
Something good: an accident of fate in no way a credit to me.
Maybe if everyone can learn to knit we can stop this whole climate change thing you started?!
