Last week I went to a new hairdresser to get my hair dyed, and she had some opinions.
I think negging might be a way to get more business - maybe next time she can cut my hair and make it look good. But it hasn’t worked on me at all.
For starters, I really like my haircut. And negging doesn’t do much for me. But the real reason it didn’t work - and the stylist wouldn’t have know this - is it’s not the first time I’ve been told by a hairdresser my haircut looks bad. But it IS the first time I didn’t do the haircut myself. I paid a professional for this haircut. When she asked who cut it, I could give a real answer. I felt so grown up.
I just finished Let’s Go, Let’s Go, Let’s Go and really liked it. I hate to be one of those people that compliments the portion sizes at a restaurant but - it had SO many short stories in it, and they all felt different. I also finished knitting this tiny sweater, for a baby who will probably only be able to wear it five minutes.
I hope you’re having a good week, and I hope you know your hair looks great.
I was thinking on some sick burns to reply to the hairdresser but remembered the rule “dont mess with the people that cook your food or cut your hair” Plato
…or Pluto, can’t remember
If you knit sweaters for Kip, he won’t grow out of them.
