This week I read Good Material, which felt like a new nice Nick Hornby movie (sorry, I know there are many more British references than just Nick Hornby movies I promise this is my highest form of praise), and I’m almost done with Diary of a Void, which is strange and had some really nice sentences. Neither book talked about snow much, I’m already counting the days until spring.
As always, I’d like to publicly apologize for making Kip poop outside. I know it’s the worst, pal. I hope you’re staying warm and listing all the words for teeth you know and that you have an ok week full of nice things.
White snow is infinitely superior to slushy brown and gray urban winterscapes. I know this even though I have more experience with the latter. 😁
Yesterday I saw someone walking a dog, and the dog was wearing little booties. Here in CA, I can only imagine that the boots were to keep the feet of the dog clean (or maybe the little dog had injuries to his feet which were healing). But I wonder whether little boots would keep Kip’s feet warm and help him with his aversion to going outside when it’s been snowing?
