(If you missed last week’s rat story, click these words.)
Come give us rat advice at an event next week! We’d love to see you. Mostly I’ll want to gush about how high our rat can jump. She got so much air coming out of the can! I know she’s going to love living in the forest though.
Tonight’s the first night of Passover. Every Passover I’m excited about matzah pizza, and then after eight days of it - I’m still very excited about matzah pizza. Matzah pizza is amazing. It has all the same flavors as regular pizza, but it you can be eating it three minutes from now instead of however long it takes you to make or procure a regular pizza.
Boaz and I have been re-watching Pokémon Concierge, which is the most soothing show I’ve ever watched. If you’re on the fence about watching it, you should know I had close to zero knowledge of Pokemon before watching it, have the same level of knowledge after watching it, and love it.
Have you watched Pokémon Concierge or any other equally-soothing shows lately? Are you good at making your own pizza, or do you live with someone who is? (I live with someone who’s good at it, and I strongly recommend that route.)
I hope you have a good week and see some people and animals you love.
Okay, hear me out: what if, after you trap acro-rat, you train him (her?) and take their show on the road? They clearly have natural ability! They could be part of your book tours!
Happy Passover! I haven't had matzah pizza -- yet. I'm going to look up a recipe asap. We had a rat problem last year (we have chickens, so natch: rats). We tried traps, paid a company several hundred dollars to get rid of the rats. One baby rat was caught in the trap. All the other rats were too smart. We now pick up the chickens food after they eat, stopped feeding the birds, filled all the rat holes, put up barriers all around the house, including laying down hardware cloth and covering it with several inches of pea gravel. Big job, but we didn't have to kill anything, and the rats moved away.
