My husband and I were walking through a Disney hotel once and we passed two women as one of them goes "and I said to her, I said 'Carol.....you need a margarita'" and it also has become part of our personalities
Trader Joe’s does sell goat cheese in logs and some cheeses in wheels (brie, maybe others.) If they had a wheel of goat cheese as a seasonal item, the question of “logs or wheels?” might help clarify a customer’s request.
I can help with understanding "Hey Bubba! Lug, wheel or both." In grocery lingo, and Trader Joe's parlance as well, a "lug" is a heavy duty container. Think 50 gallon storage container, but more macho. I've not heard the term "wheel" used at Trader Joe's. I would understand what the crew member meant if they had said, "flat cart" or "hand truck" or "dolly." I assume this particular Joe's store gave the "flat cart" a nickname like "wheel," but that doesn't make a lot of sense because "flat cart" sounds pretty cool. At the Trader Joe's store where I worked we would often put a lug or two on top of the flat cart.
With my husband had lots of phrases we heard from videos and come up in any situation xD but my favourite ones are the silly songs he make about squirrels that comes to visit our bird feeders (in some point they were very recognizable and we called them (in Spanish) “tuerta” (one-eyed squirrel)and “mocho” (her tail was cut for some reason)) also, we have some songs for our cats.
This substack should turn exclusively into your trying to find Bubba and answer this question! We’ll come along for the ride. It’ll be like the Mystery Show podcast RIP or when people find the person who composed hold music they really like.
The first thing I thought of was bicycle - bike has wheels and lugs. Perhaps something broke on the bike and the other was wondering if it was the wheel, lug, or both. Maybe?!
Once my husband and I were flying from Puerto Rico to St Thomas and a toddler in a seat behind us said during takeoff "Bye bye Puerto Rico!! See you tonight!!!" And my husband and I have been saying that to each other ever since.👋🇵🇷
My mystery phrase is, “car, car, q, u, r,” said in a sing-songy voice. It comes from warning kids in the street (me among them) that a car was driving towards us and to step to a side.

My mystery is why do the artists get the words wrong when I’m singing along to their music?
I had the wonderful opportunity of working abroad and one day one of the teammates put his hand on my shoulder and said
“Listen, you dont have to worry if you dont know what something is named, we will understand you…
so please, stop using madeup words it makes everything so difficult “
And I was like “Is it because of the chikenery? (How the word in their language would sound in english) “that guy gave us a look huh?”

I was thinking the same thing. In my family, “goat log” is a universally understood and common item on the grocery list.

“You either solve a mystery or say something unusual in front of a stranger they’ll remember forever” is my favorite wish you’ve ever wished us.

Cheese!! It must be about cheese 🧀
Six words: Corn nuts, are you kidding me?
Love TJ corn salsa
I was thinking pasta (wheels), but what would lug be?! Long?
Lug the groceries in a basket or use the wheels on a cart (or both!)?

This comic made me cry laugh. I will forever be thinking of it.
"olives and blueberries. I haven’t eaten them together but honestly, I’d try it."
